Are you ready for Bluegrass?

It's time for some bluegrass! Join us Saturday in downtown Liberty for their largest festival yet-- the second annual Fall for Liberty. 116 vendors will join the festivities. You will find everything from hayrides, train rides, inflatables for the kids, arts and crafts of all types, a cake walk, a large variety of food vendors with everything from ice cream to shrimp and grits, and much more. Don't forget the chili cook-off. Come be the judge and pick out your favorite.

Festivities begin at 10 AM with the Liberty High School JROTC. At 10:30 Jack Roper will perform a magic show. Then at 11:30 the bluegrass music begins. Bands include Shades of Blue, the Smoke Shifters, Slik Nickel, and we end the day with the Steam Railers joined by the Young Appalachian Musicians (YAMs). Bring a chair and plan to stay til the end at 5 PM. “Our Festival and Events Committee has been working hard to bring our town a great event. Come to Liberty for a beautiful fall day and enjoy all that our great town has to offer,” says Mayor Michael Sheriff.

A shuttle will be available for overflow parking at the old LHS stadium.
